SUMMARY:Regional Roundtable Event
DESCRIPTION:Connect with chamber professionals from around Colorado to grow your professional network\, share best practices and find creative solutions to common challenges. ACCC members represent communities ranging from urban to rural areas\, from the Western Slope to the Front Range\, and from resort chambers to regional business-focused groups. Regardless of your chamber's orientation\, members of ACCC provide a valuable peer network for sharing ideas\, guidance and support. \n\n\n\nAbout the August 18 Program on Budgeting: \n\n\n\nThe end of summer means it's time to start thinking about budgets. If you've been needing feedback on your chamber's financial operation\, this ACCC roundtable is for you. Chamber execs will get in-depth help and feedback in developing their 2023 budgets. \n\n \n\nAre you planning for the right expenses? Can you safely plan for increased event revenue? How do you plan for reserve savings and future needs? Is it time to raise dues and sponsorship amounts? What non-dues revenue opportunities exist? This will also be a great way to see what other chambers are prioritizing. Confidentiality of budgets will be a primary expectation for all participants.\n\n \n\nFor this roundtable\, we will be dividing participants into small workgroups of 3-4 people. There will be at least one ACCC board member who is experienced with budgets in each group. Members of each group will have time to review their current budget or 2023 proposal with the group.\n\n \n\nThis is a chance to get blunt feedback and think of options you hadn't yet considered. Part coaching\, part planning\, this roundtable will be a huge help as you prepare your budget proposal for the fall. Each participant will be asked to print out five copies of their budget for use in the work groups.\n\n \n\nThis event will take place at the Douglas County Library's branch in Parker at 20105 E. Mainstreet. Groups will take lunch at their leisure at recommended restaurants within walking distance in the downtown area.
